It's no secret. We absolutely LOVE our pork scrapple!
It's one of the most sought after birthday breakfast foods here on the farm. And let me make this perfectly clear: Not all scrapple is created equal. If you haven't tasted ours, you seriously don't know what you're missing.
Scrapple is very easy to fry. Here's one way:
- Melt some butter in a frying pan or griddle.
- Slice scrapple into 1/4 or 1/2 inch thick slices. (Might be easier to slice if it's still slightly frozen)
- Fry on both sides until crispy (but preferably still a bit soft in the inside)
- Enjoy your fresh, succulent, golden brown scrapple! It goes super well with eggs, especially eggs from soy-free pastured hens. ;)
